The Pike Liberal Arts Patriots football team (Troy, AL), was crushed 63-12 in Friday's league bout with the host Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL)

With the win, Highland Home upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Flying Squadron host Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL) to confront the Tigers in a 2A Region 3 contest on Friday, October 24. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 2-6. Calhoun lost 27-6 in their recent league contest against Zion Chapel (Jack, AL)

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Loachapoka Indians (Loachapoka, AL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 24. Pike Liberal Arts will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Indians go into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 41-13 league win over Ranburne (Ranburne, AL).
