Pennsylvania High School Football - McGuffey loses to Highlands

Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football squad topple the visiting McGuffey Highlanders (Claysville, PA), 38-12 in a non-league match.

The Golden Rams (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Vikings enter the WPIAL AAA Allegheny 7 match with a 0-9 record. In their last match, Valley was beaten by Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA), 29-14, in a league match.

Next up, the Highlanders play the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Western Hills battle, on Friday, October 24. McGuffey will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Quakers go into the battle with a 3-6 record after their 35-13 league loss to Beaver (Beaver, PA).
