California High School Football - Hillcrest can't hold off Poly

Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA), 33-27 in a league battle.

With the win, Poly advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bears host Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA) to play the Eagles in a Sunbelt battle on Friday, October 24. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Valley View won 14-9 in their recent league battle against Hemet (Hemet, CA)

The Trojans now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Rancho Christian for a Sunbelt battle on Friday, October 24. Hillcrest will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 31-6 league win over Arlington (Riverside, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
