The Point Pleasant Boro Panthers football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Howell Rebels to 14 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Toms River North for a Shore - A South challenge on Friday, October 24. Point Pleasant Boro will face a Mariners team coming off a 37-29 non-league win over Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ). The Mariners record now stands at 4-4.
The Rebels (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Griffins go into the Shore - A South challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Donovan Catholic toppled Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ), 23-22, in a non-league challenge.
