Michigan High School Football - Ionia falls to Lansing Catholic

The Lansing Catholic Cougars felled the host Ionia Bulldogs football team by a score of 28-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 24. Lansing Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 55-0 league win over Perry (Perry, MI).

The Bulldogs (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI). The Vikings go into the Capital Area - White challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood lost by Olivet (Olivet, MI), 42-14, in a league challenge.
