Texas High School Football - John Paul II overwhelmed by John Paul II

October 17, 2025: New Braunfels, TX 78132

The John Paul II Guardians walloped the visiting John Paul II Centurions football team by a score of 46-3 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Guardians face the Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX) in a TAPPS Division III District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 24. John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 34-7 non-league loss to First Baptist (Dallas, TX).

The Centurions (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX). The Knights come into the TAPPS Division III District 3 test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Hill Country Christian School of Austin was overwhelmed by Geneva (Boerne, TX), 28-12, in a league test.
