The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Kaufer Seahawks to 6 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now hold a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Maria for a 2A-1 Region IV District 16 challenge on Friday, October 24. Skidmore-Tynan will play a Cougars team coming off a 42-14 league win over Freer (Freer, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.
The Seahawks (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A-1 Region IV District 16 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Three Rivers knocked off Premont (Premont, TX), 44-6, in a league test.
