The Williamsburg Raiders football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Knoxville Panthers to 15 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Saydel for a 3A District 5 test on Friday, October 24. Williamsburg will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 41-14 league loss to Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, Knoxville drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Nevada (Nevada, IA) to play the Cubs in a 3A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Cubs go into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Nevada won 21-14 in their recent league challenge against Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA)
