The Laconia Sachems football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Stevens Cardinals to 6 in the Sachems league triumph on Friday.
The Sachems now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sanborn Regional for a Division III - East test on Friday, October 24. Laconia will meet a Indians squad coming off a 35-6 league loss to Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough Academy (Meredith, NH). The Indians record now stands at 0-6.
The Cardinals (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Gilford toppled Somersworth (Somersworth, NH), 47-26, in a non-league challenge.
