Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting McAdams Bulldogs (McAdams, MS), 48-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Leake County improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Gators travel to Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS) to meet the Bobcats in a 1A Region 5 test on Friday, October 24. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 3-5. Sebastopol lost 49-14 in their recent league test against Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS)

With the defeat, McAdams drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Noxapater (Noxapater, MS) to meet the Tigers in a 1A Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Noxapater lost 30-26 in their recent league challenge against Ethel (Ethel, MS)
