The Leavitt Hornets walloped the host Messalonskee Eagles football team by a score of 34-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) in a C North challenge, on Friday, October 24. Leavitt will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 27-20 league win over Nokomis (Newport, ME).

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Bulldogs come into the B North test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Lawrence was overwhelmed by Cony (Augusta, ME), 46-14, in a league test.
