California High School Football - Leland thwarted by Willow Glen

Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA), 31-0 in a league match.

The Rams (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Warriors come into the Santa Teresa - Valley match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Westmont defeated Gunderson (San Jose, CA), 43-42, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Chargers meet the Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) in a Santa Teresa - Valley match, on Thursday, October 23. Leland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 1-6 record after their 42-7 league loss to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA).
