The Quitman Bulldogs football team (Quitman, TX), dropped 41-19 in Friday's league bout with the host Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX)

With the win, Lone Oak advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX) to confront the Indians in a 3A-2 Region III District 9 contest on Friday, October 24. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 5-2. Grand Saline won 46-7 in their recent league contest against Chisum (Paris, TX)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a 3A-2 Region III District 9 contest, on Friday, October 24. Quitman will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 59-42 league loss to Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX).
