Tennessee High School Football - Loudon loses to Rhea County

Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN), 28-7 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, Rhea County upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to McMinn County (Athens, TN) to confront the Cherokees in a 5A Region 3 match on Friday, October 24. The Cherokees enter the match with a record of 5-3. McMinn County lost 21-11 in their recent non-league match against Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN)

Coming up next, the Redskins confront the Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) in a 4A Region 3 match, on Friday, October 24. Loudon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 56-14 league win over East Ridge (Chattanooga, TN).
