Indiana High School Football - Mitchell nudges Perry Central

In Friday's league match, the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets football squad scored a close 23-20 victory over the Perry Central Commodores.

The Bluejackets (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN). The Miners enter the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Linton-Stockton was tipped by Northview (Brazil, IN), 35-14, in a non-league battle.

The Commodores now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host North Daviess for a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. Perry Central will play a Cougars team coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Springs Valley (French Lick, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 8-1.
