In Friday's league match, the visiting North Douglas football squad scored a good 36-12 triumph over the Mohawk Mustangs.
The (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR). The Eagles come into the 1A Special District 2 (8 Man) battle with a 0-1 record.
The Mustangs now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Perrydale for a 1A Special District 2 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 24. Mohawk will play a Pirates team coming off a 66-12 league win over Country Christian (Molalla, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 6-1.
