California High School Football - Mt. Whitney succumbs to Monache

October 17, 2025: Visalia, CA 93277

The Monache Marauders (Porterville, CA) football knocked off the host Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), 35-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Marauders now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Golden West for a East Yosemite outing on Friday, October 24. Monache will clash with a Trailblazers squad coming off a 26-14 league loss to Redwood (Visalia, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Mt. Whitney drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Porterville (Porterville, CA) to battle the Panthers in a East Yosemite game on Friday, October 24. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 6-2. Porterville won 58-6 in their recent league game against El Diamante (Visalia, CA)
