Louisiana High School Football - Neville edged by Ruston

The Ruston Bearcats got by the host Neville Tigers football team by a score of 41-37 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats meet the Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA) in a 5A District 2 test, on Friday, October 24. Ruston will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 49-3 league win over Pineville (Pineville, LA).

With the defeat, Neville drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA) to meet the Lions in a 5A District 2 test on Friday, October 24. The Lions come into the test with a record of 5-2. Ouachita Parish lost 39-25 in their recent league test against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA)
