Texas High School Football - North Side defeats Polytechnic

October 17, 2025: Fort Worth, TX 76105

Spectators at Friday's league bout between the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) and the host Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), saw North Side's football team gain a win over Polytechnic by a final score of 54-26.

With the win, North Side upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Steers host Saginaw (Saginaw, TX) to confront the Rough Riders in a 5A-1 Region I District 4 match on Saturday, October 25. The Rough Riders enter the match with a record of 5-2. Saginaw won 41-38 in their recent league match against Paschal (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Parrots play the South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 4 battle, on Friday, October 24. Polytechnic will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Scorpions go into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 49-6 league loss to Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX).
