The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) and the host North Rangers (Eastlake, OH), witnessed Riverside's football squad topple North by a tally of 42-21.
The Beavers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against South (Willoughby, OH). The Rebels enter the Western Reserve bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, South was topped by Chardon (Chardon, OH), 41-23, in a league bout.
The Rangers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Mayfield for a Western Reserve bout on Friday, October 24. North will encounter a Kansas team coming off a 14-7 league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Kansas record now stands at 5-4.
