Texas High School Football - Northwest overwhelmed by Southlake Carroll

In Friday's league outing, the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) football squad trounced the visiting Northwest Texans (Justin, TX), by a margin of 57-7.

The Dragons now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bell for a 6A Region I District 4 outing on Friday, October 24. Southlake Carroll will battle a Blue Raiders team coming off a 38-23 league loss to Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 5-2.

The Texans (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Bobcat come into the 6A Region I District 4 outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Byron Nelson trounced V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX), 48-26, in a league outing.
