Pennsylvania High School Football - Northwestern Lehigh trounces Tamaqua

October 17, 2025: New Tripoli, PA 18066

In Friday's league match, the host Northwestern Lehigh Tigers football squad scored a decisive 56-16 triumph over the Tamaqua Blue Raiders.

The Tigers (9-0) will now prepare for their match against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans come into the Colonial-Schuylkill - A match with a 9-0 record. In their last match, Southern Lehigh routed Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA), 56-20, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Blue Raiders meet the Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A challenge, on Friday, October 24. Tamaqua will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 49-14 league win over Pottsville (Pottsville, PA).
