Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) boosters were happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad topple the host Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA), 18-8 in a league match.

The Chargers (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Keystone Oaks was beaten by Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA), 55-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) in a WPIAL AA Allegheny battle, on Friday, October 24. Shady Side Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 45-34 league loss to Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA).
