The Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) football trounced the visiting Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX), 63-0 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) in a 4A-2 Region II District 7 game, on Friday, October 24. Pleasant Grove will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Buckeyes enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 48-38 league loss to Van (Van, TX).
The Panthers (1-6) will now prepare for their game against North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Panthers enter the 4A-2 Region II District 7 game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, North Lamar was trounced by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX), 45-22, in a league bout.
