Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA), 28-21 in a league test.
The Bears now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Stroudsburg for a Eastern Pennsylvania - Monroe test on Friday, October 24. Pleasant Valley will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 45-19 league win over East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Pocono Mountain West drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA) to meet the Cardinals in a Eastern Pennsylvania - Monroe challenge on Friday, October 24.
