The Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders (Opelousas, LA) football knocked off the host Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA), 35-16 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Crusaders now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Berchmans Academy for a 1A District 5 outing on Friday, October 24. Westminster Christian Academy will battle a Saints team coming off a 43-7 league loss to Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Saints record now stands at 1-6.
The Red Devils (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Oakdale (Oakdale, LA). The Warriors enter the 2A District 5 game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Oakdale was toppled by Kinder (Kinder, LA), 50-13, in a league game.
