Georgia High School Football - Rome wallops South Paulding

October 17, 2025: Rome, GA 30161

The Rome Wolves football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting South Paulding Spartans to 22 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Manchester for a AAAAA Region 5 test on Friday, October 24. Rome will meet a Jaguar squad coming off a 36-0 league win over Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA). The Jaguar record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, South Paulding moves to 3-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to East Paulding (Dallas, GA) to face the Raiders in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. East Paulding won 37-12 in their recent league test against Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA)
