North Carolina High School Football - South Rowan trounced by Salisbury

October 17, 2025: Salisbury, NC 28144

Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 42-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Salisbury advances its record to 2-6 on the season. The Hornets travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to confront the Spiders in a South Piedmont 4A/5A match on Friday, October 24. The Spiders come into the match with a record of 4-4. Concord lost 42-20 in their recent league match against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

Coming up next, the Raiders confront the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a South Piedmont 4A/5A match, on Friday, October 24. South Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 43-7 league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC).
