Georgia High School Football - Whitewater overwhelmed by Sandy Creek

In Friday's league game, the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) football team triumphed over the host Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA), by a tally of 62-21.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a AAA Region 2 game, on Friday, October 24. Sandy Creek will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 5-3 record after their 26-0 league win over Spalding (Griffin, GA).

With the defeat, Whitewater drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a AAA Region 2 outing on Friday, October 24. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 0-8. Fayette County lost 42-10 in their recent league outing against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA)
