Iowa High School Football - Winterset tops Saydel

The Winterset Huskies football team scored 41 points and restricted the host Saydel Eagles to 14 in the Huskies league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Des Moines Christian Lions (Des Moines, IA) in a 3A District 5 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Winterset will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 21-14 league loss to Nevada (Nevada, IA).
The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA). The Raiders go into the 3A District 5 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Williamsburg toppled Knoxville (Knoxville, IA), 48-15, in a league test.
