The South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) football were winner over the visiting Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 43-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Warriors (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Maroons enter the 5A District 8 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Pulaski County ran past North Laurel (London, KY), 49-14, in a league game.
