St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ), 41-19 in a non-league match.
The Falcons (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Barrons come into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Woodbridge went down by Summit (Summit, NJ), 10-7, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, St. Thomas Aquinas drops to 5-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Sayreville (Parlin, NJ) to face the Bombers in a Big Central - National Silver challenge on Friday, October 24. The Bombers go into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Sayreville lost 43-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Montgomery (Skillman, NJ)
