The Toledo Boomers football team scored 58 points and restricted the host Waldport Irish to 20 in the Boomers league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Boomers play the Oakridge Warriors (Oakridge, OR) in a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 24. Toledo will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 36-16 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, OR).
The Irish (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Cobras enter the 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Central Linn was ripped by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, OR), 46-13, in a league challenge.
