The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) and the host Varsity Opponent (, ), saw Willow's football team gain a win over Varsity Opponent by a final score of 36-24.

With the win, Willow advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Lions host Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league match on Friday, October 24. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 2-5. Benjamin Franklin lost 20-17 in their recent non-league match against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA)

Coming up next, the confront the Faith Christian HomeSchool Academy Tornadoes (Madison, MS) in a 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) match, on Saturday, October 18. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 18-82 season record. The Tornadoes go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 46-32 league loss to Unity Christian Academy (Leland, MS).
