The Middletown South Eagles soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host St. John-Vianney Lancers to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manalapan for a Shore A - North game on Tuesday, October 21.
The Lancers (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Crimson Knights come into the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Wall Township by Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league game.
