Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO), 9-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Cherokee Trail improves its record to 20-4 on the year.

The Wildcats now hold a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league game on Friday, October 17. Arvada West will play a Hawks squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Broomfield (Broomfield, CO). The Hawks record now stands at 16-7.
