The Beaver Beavers held off the visiting Altamont Longhorns volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Beavers now possess a 11-14 record. They play next when they travel to Tintic for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. Beaver will clash with a Miners team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Tabiona (Tabiona, UT). The Miners record now stands at 15-8.
With the loss, Altamont drops to 7-17 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Milford (Milford, UT) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, October 18. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 10-12. Milford lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Valley (Orderville, UT)
