In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Augusta Southeastern Suns volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays.

The Suns (23-5) will now prepare for their challenge against South County (Franklin, IL). The Vipers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-13 record. In their last challenge, South County lost by Carrollton (Carrollton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays face the West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars (Winchester, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 18. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central will attempt to advance on its 8-17 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 3-23 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to South County (Franklin, IL).
