Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Geneva improves its record to 16-15 on the season. The Vikings travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to face the Ironmen in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Ironmen go into the test with a record of 23-4. Normal Community won 2-0 in their recent league test against Urbana (Urbana, IL)

The Gators now own a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles East for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Crystal Lake South will play a Fighting Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 12-15.
