The Duchesne Eagles topped the host Piute Thunderbirds volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now possess a 16-8 record. They play next when they travel to Green River for a non-league outing on Friday, October 17. Duchesne will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wayne (Bicknell, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Piute falls to 8-12 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Tabiona (Tabiona, UT) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, October 18. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 12-11. Tabiona won 3-1 in their recent league game against Tintic (Eureka, UT)
