Illinois High School Volleyball - Geneva Normal Community

Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Ironmen now have a 27-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Park-River Forest for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Normal Community will play a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 league win over Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Geneva drops to 18-16 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Saturday, October 18. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 15-13. Waubonsie Valley lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL)
