In Friday's league challenge, the host Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over the Nashua South Purple Panthers.

With the win, Hollis-Brookline advances its record to 5-10 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH) to face the Clippers in a Division I test on Monday, October 20. The Clippers go into the test with a record of 10-6. Portsmouth won 3-2 in their recent league test against Bedford (Bedford, NH)

The Purple Panthers now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timberlane for a Division I test on Monday, October 20. Nashua South will play a Owls team coming off a 3-2 league win over Merrimack (Merrimack, NH). The Owls record now stands at 8-9.
