Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The (13-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverdale (Jefferson, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league challenge with a 1-15 record. In their last challenge, Riverdale was beaten by West Jefferson (Harvey, LA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Roneagles meet the Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 20. McDonogh 35 will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 9-21 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA).
