Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now have a 19-9 record. They play next when they travel to Goldwater for a non-league outing on Friday, October 17. Marana will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-5.
The Rams (3-12) will now prepare for their game against Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 2-12 record. In their last game, Camelback went down by Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ), 3-1, in a league game.
