The McMullen County Cowboys prevailed the host Pettus Eagles volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cowboys now possess a 26-14 record. They play next when they host Pawnee for a 1A Region IV District 31 bout on Tuesday, October 21.
With the loss, Pettus drops to 3-23 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Falls City (Falls City, TX) to confront the Beavers in a 2A Region IV District 28 match on Tuesday, October 21. The Beavers enter the match with a record of 25-11. Falls City won 3-0 in their recent league match against Bloomington (Bloomington, TX)
