In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Polytech Panthers volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions.
Next up, the Panthers face the Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE) in a Henlopen North game, on Tuesday, October 21. Polytech will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Riders go into the game with a 13-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE).
The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Newark (Newark, DE). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Newark edged St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
