The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Springfield Wildcats (Springfield, OH) and the host Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH), saw Springfield's volleyball squad nip Xenia by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 7-15 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Piqua (Piqua, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 20. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Piqua lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Xenia (Xenia, OH)
