Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Deer Antlers (Deer, AR), 75-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Shirley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to South Side (Bee Branch, AR) to clash with the Hornet in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 19. The Hornet go into the bout with a record of 1-0. South Side won 68-47 in their recent non-league bout against Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR)
Next up, the Antlers clash with the Western Yell County Wolverines (Havana, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 21. Deer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
