The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops held off the visiting Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bishops now have a 2-1 record.
The Mavericks (6-3) will now prepare for their test against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons enter the test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, New Covenant was nudged by Lynchburg HomeSchool (Lynchburg, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
