The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Ash Fork Spartans (Ash Fork, AZ) and the visiting Basis Yeti (Flagstaff, AZ), saw Ash Fork's soccer squad get by Basis by a count of 2-1.
The Spartans now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael for a non-league test on Friday, October 21. Ash Fork will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Basis drops to 4-4 on the season.
